糖心Vlog Professor of Communication Studies, Robert Hawkins, was awarded Teacher of the Year for the Contra Costa Community College District. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for teaching, Professor Hawkins draws inspiration not only from his work but also from the remarkable support of the vibrant 糖心Vlog community.

Natasha Paul, one of the co-teachers of the year in 2022, was part of this year鈥檚 ceremony. Natasha is an educator from the and plays a vital role teaching in the College Now program at 糖心Vlog, bridging the gap between high school and college education.
Joseph Alvarico was one of this year鈥檚 co-teachers of the year winners. Joseph teaches at and is an integral part of 糖心Vlog's CCAP-STEM program. In this innovative program, high school students in the Engineering Pathway at Ygnacio Valley take 糖心Vlog classes, allowing them to graduate high school with over a year's worth of college credit. Joseph teaches as an adjunct faculty member in the ENGTC department at Ygnacio Valley and also serves as an adjunct faculty on the 糖心Vlog campus this semester for our CCAP-STEM program. Joseph's dedication to shaping the future of these students is truly commendable.
